Bulldozing Muslim Properties Across States: Open Letter to Attorney General for India. Didn’t Hitler’s ‘de-facto Attorney General’ Face Nuremberg Trials & Execution?!

Dear Venkataramani,

In response to my open letter addressed to you – carried by Countercurrents.org on 7 August 2023 – you maintained a deathly silence. The letter can be accessed here.

The letter documented the illegal bulldozing of properties belonging to the Muslim community in Nuh, Haryana. Judiciary called it ethnic cleansing. I had urged you to intervene and cautioned that if such bulldozing continued a civil war could ensue.

On 9 February 2024, Countercurrents.org published an article titled “Bulldozer Injustice in India – JCB Machines Weaponised in Hate Campaign” detailing Amnesty International Reports about bulldozing of Muslim settlements in five states in India.

Consequent to the illegal bulldozing, widespread killings and protests followed.

Remember Hans Frank (1900 – 1946) was a personal legal adviser to Hitler and Nazi Party. He was convicted of crimes against humanity at Nuremberg Trials; awarded death sentence and executed by hanging. He functioned as ‘de-facto attorney general’ in Nazi Germany.

I again appeal to you to intervene. The fascist acts of bulldozing by the ‘police-administration-local governments’ combine must end. If and when a truly peoples’ government comes to power and a Nuremberg-type trial gets ordered against these and other fascist acts committed over the last decade, then judges, law officials and legal advisers to the rulers would also come under scrutiny. There is no immunity available to the Attorney General for India!

Death by Firing Squad is not an option for ICC; But it can award 30 years of Imprisonment to Netanyahu

 

Israeli PM Netanyahu’s statements – all along these three months – of defying the whole world and associated institutions are highly condemnable; so is the advocacy of removal of Palestinians from Gaza by the Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich; and the utterance of Amichai Eliyahu, Minister of Heritage about ‘nuking Gaza an option.’ Worse is the term ‘Human Animals’ used by Israeli Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant for Palestinians!

 

The Israeli government is contemptuous of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC). But the War Cabinet of Netanyahu should remember that no power on earth can stop the award of punishment by judicial bodies/tribunals in relation to these worthies responsible for mass crimes against humanity and genocide of Palestinians. Even though these political leaders can use the ongoing killings to escape the gallows for now. But finally, the truth shall prevail. Netanyahu and his ilk are digging their own graves. In the long run, the Palestinians shall gain freedom and their land.

 

True, the maximum sentence that can be awarded by ICC is 30 years; at ICC death penalty is not an option. Netanyahu and his war cabinet ministers should read the Rwanda genocide case to come to terms with the fact that escaping from punishment for a long time is all that they can aspire for. But finally, they will be indicted.

 

The Rwanda Genocide

 

BBC on 14 December 2015 carried the story titled “Rwanda Genocide: International Criminal Tribunal Closes”: Quote

 

“It wasn’t the only body set up to judge those responsible for perhaps 800,000 deaths in a hundred days of killing, …

Four years after the massacres took place, Jean-Paul Akayesu, a former mayor, was convicted on nine counts of genocide and crimes against humanity.

…the former Rwandan Prime Minister Jean Kambanda, who became the first head of a government ever to be convicted of genocide by an international court. …

In all, 93 individuals were indicted – politicians, businessmen, high-ranking military and government officials, heads of media and religious leaders.”

 

Mr. Netanyahu ask your lawyers based in the USA to explain to you the import of the above judgement.

 

The Rohingya Genocide

 

The East Asia Forum on 21 December 2023 in a story titled “Myanmar military under pressure as legal jeopardy builds” reported:

 

“Six years after the 2017 Rohingya massacres and four years after The Gambia launched the ICJ proceedings legal interventions have increased the jeopardy facing Myanmar’s military leadership, including coup leader Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. The most recent joint intervention notably included two permanent members of the UN Security Council – the United Kingdom and France – and other influential European countries such as Germany”

 

Mr. Netanyahu, feel free to choose an epithet of your choice for your grave.
